Expanding Puig's range of rear seat cowls, this new minimalist design aims to refine the rear part of the motorcycle and highlight its wasp-like lines. With an aesthetic that simplifies shapes and follows the characteristic design line of the Japanese brand, this tail aims to give the motorcycle a more aggressive appearance, reminiscent of single-seat racing bikes by dispensing with the passenger seat. Its internal channels make it lightweight and at the same time help to reduce the turbulence generated by the air once it hits the rider and the volume of the motorcycle.
It is available in matte black and carbon-look finish.
As part of Puig's product line, it has been designed and manufactured in Barcelona with the most advanced technologies in technical plastics molding. It consists of an ABS piece and a set of supports of 3mm and 5mm thickness welded together, so that the rear seart cowls can be mounted and dismounted in the same way as the original.
The tail is made of high-quality black ABS plastic 4mm thick, being lightweight and resistant. Its total measurements are: 315mm wide by 295mm long.
The assembly is very simple since the Puig rear seat cowls replaces the passenger seat and uses the same anchoring system: you just have to open the seat, remove it, and place the Puig rear seart cowl. It includes a 4mm thick foam, so that if at any time the user has to lean on the tail, it does not come into contact with the surface of a plastic cover, but with a foam.
The next-generation tailpieces from Puig stand out for their aggressive design and appeal in leaving the rear of the motorcycle uniquely prepared for the rider. By converting the bike into a single-seater, it acquires a personalized and sporty aesthetic, resembling racing motorcycles.
Its carefully studied design aims to lighten the rear, simplifying the bike's lines. Additionally, we incorporate a 4mm thick black neoprene foam in the front area of the tailpiece to enhance rider comfort when crouched at high speeds. Designed and manufactured near the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló, Barcelona, this piece is made from matte black ABS plastic, glossy black, or a durable and lightweight 3mm thick carbon-like material.
Its installation is very straightforward, as the Puig tailpiece uses the same or similar anchoring system to make the tailpiece installation as simple as possible.
Depending on the model, Puig tailpieces include a kit of adhesives to maintain the bike's colors with the installed product.
