The team was founded in 1984 by Jaime Fernández Avilés, who started spontaneously, taking on multiple roles as sporting director, mechanic, and rider, with the goal of winning races. Over time, the team consolidated by supporting young riders in developing their potential, which led them to win numerous awards in regional championships during the 1990s. It was then that the collaboration with Yamaha was established.
In 2001, they decided to form a competitive team to excel in international competitions. Thanks to the dedication of its founder and the passion of the team, Team LaGlisse has become a reference in the FIM CEV Repsol, participating in CEV and Promotion Cups, with support from technical sponsors in the current season. The team focuses on developing young talents, providing a platform to improve their skills and standing out as a breeding ground for future champions in motorcycling.
