The team arises from the will of its current owner, Jaime Fernández Avilés, to participate in circuit speed competitions back in 1984. It was created spontaneously and with a single component who acted as sports director, mechanic, rider and as many functions as necessary to achieve the dream of winning races.
Little by little the team was consolidated with young riders helping them to develop their full potential by providing them with all the necessities and it was not until the 90s that the team reaped all kinds of awards in Regional Championships and Territorial Trophies. It was then that the union of Team LaGlisse with the Yamaha factory was consolidated.
In 2001 they decided to set up a competition team to fight for the top in international competitions.
The unlimited dedication of its founder and the passion of the entire team make Team LaGlisse a benchmark of the FIM CEV Repsol: CEV and Promotion Cups, counting on our collaboration as technical sponsors of the team this season.

Since in 1995 a young Luis Castro began to compete, the team has had all kinds changes. From competing in various World Championships to regional Mini Speed races. The first years the team was created only with the Cordoba rider, but as of 2005 more than 30 riders have passed through this team. Of all ages and with different track records: European champions, international riders, other nationalities, national and regional champions, the youngest with hardly any experience.
Despite growing, the entire structure has not lost an ounce of enthusiasm and continues to show that, despite being in international championships, it does not neglect its base.
Among the milestones of this team, it is worth highlighting the participation as Wild Card in 3 Grand Prix of the MotoGP World Championship, the podium of the Endurance World Cup, fifth place in the final classification of the Endurance World Cup, the Spanish Endurance Championship, the victory of the first girl in a speed race, as well as being the first to win a girls' championship, both in small displacements and in large displacement motorcycles. This is complemented by several regional championships and runners-up, and almost half a hundred victories with the help of Puig as technical sponsor.
