The Catalan manufacturer will contribute to the renewal process of the Japanese team for the 2025 and 2026 MotoGP seasons.
Nearly 10 years ago, Puig made its definitive leap into high-level competition alongside the Honda team, providing high-tech products and accumulating valuable experience at the highest level. In 2025, the Catalan manufacturer strengthens its collaboration with Honda in a new stage, keeping its main riders: Joan Mir, MotoGP world champion in 2020 and Moto3 champion in 2017, and Luca Marini, Moto2 runner-up in 2020. As a novelty, the team incorporates Aleix Espargaró as a test rider, who will work alongside Stefan Bradl on the development of the Honda RC213V.
Honda HRC leads this new phase, in which, according to Carles Puig, Export Manager of Motoplastic Puig: "We are very happy to renew for two more years with Honda, especially in this special year that marks a decade of collaborating with HRC in MotoGP. The synergies and commitment we share with the team help us immensely to grow, both in product development and in strengthening our brand. We will continue to support the team in every way we can, proud to be part of this incredible group that is HRC."
This season promises to be special for both the Japanese team and Puig, which continues to innovate and perfect its products. With more than 60 years of experience in the automotive sector, the knowledge gained on the tracks and in high-level competition strengthens its position as a leader in technology and design.
