Last two days of testing at Phillip Island

After the presentation of the Kawasaki Racing Team, Jonathan Rea and Leo Haslam were able to make two days of testing at the Phillip Island circuit, where the first round of the 2019 season will take place next weekend.

With dry track conditions and some strong winds, Haslam and Rea finished third and fourth respectively. Leo Haslam made a best time of 1'30.668 while the current world champion made 1'30.722. Both riders feel ready to face the first round of the season.
 
This weekend we will be able to see the new format with the new 'race of speed' to ten laps added to the schedule of the Sundays in the morning. In this way, the riders dispute three reces every round.
