The Circuit de Castellet buzzes with excitement as the #1 of the Tecmas Racing Team triumphs.
This has happened before in 2017, 2022, and 2023. And it happened again on Sunday. Kenny Foray, the #1 rider of the Tecmas Racing Team, makes history once again by becoming the French Superbike champion, being the first rider in FSBK history to win four titles. It’s no coincidence that he carries the number 1: he has shown great consistency, resilience, and superiority over his competitors throughout the season. His personality and relationship with the team make him a beloved figure in the sport, and his mentality of fighting until the end has led him to success multiple times. Without a doubt, he has the mindset of a champion.
His teammate, Loïc Arbel #23, has claimed the Challenger Championship title. In the second race, Arbel had an outstanding performance, finishing in a remarkable 6th place, surpassing Foray, who faced mechanical issues during the race. Throughout the season, Arbel has been one of the top riders in the Challenger category, securing his position in the final standings race by race.
Meanwhile, in our country, the penultimate round of the WSBK was taking place at the Motorland Aragón circuit. Although we had high expectations for Alex Lowes (#22) over the weekend, the Brit suffered a crash in the Superpole and was declared "unfit" for Sunday’s race 2. The incident occurred when he went a bit wide and, while trying to regain control, he suffered a highside that threw him off the bike.
It’s a real shame, as #22 had everything to aim for the podium on Sunday. Despite this, we wish him a speedy recovery to see him fit as soon as possible. He currently sits fifth in the overall standings, but races can always surprise us. Therefore, we will closely follow the events at the Estoril circuits from October 11 to 13 and Jerez from October 18 to 20, hoping to see the Kawasaki Racing Team rider on the final podium.
