As announced last year, the Catalan accessory manufacturer and the Japanese team will collaborate again in the 2024 season.
Maintaining a relationship that began in 2016, Puig will continue developing new products and technologies for the Japanese team for another year. For both parties, this collaboration remains beneficial as the combined experience of Puig and HRC is crucial in the world's most demanding championship: Moto GP.
The Japanese team leads a new stage, in which, according to Carles Puig, Export Manager of Motoplastic Puig: "The post-Marc era begins at HRC, with a new young and potentially talented rider, a new motorcycle design, and the desire to see HRC leading the championship again. The entire Puig team is excited about this new stage that has already begun, and we will do everything possible to help HRC lead races again."
This year, in the Honda ranks, there will be the two-time world champion Joan Mir, once in the Moto3 category and another in MotoGP in 2020, and the Italian rider Luca Marini.
For Honda HRC, this season will be quite a challenge due to their new motorcycle with different technology, aerodynamics, and engine compared to previous years. However, it is also expected to be an exciting competition for both riders and the Japanese team.
