The Murcian rider from Team Laglisse maintains his lead and is getting closer to being crowned champion of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship.
The Jerez circuit has been the scene of a new victory for Team Laglisse. Their rider, Álvaro Carpe (#83), finished third in both races, securing his fifth consecutive podium with two wins and three third-place finishes. These results further distance him from the second-placed rider, with an 18-point advantage and a total of 122 points in the standings. If he maintains this performance, he could be crowned JuniorGP World Champion in the two remaining rounds.
His teammate, Unai Orradre (#10), wasn’t so fortunate. The Riojan rider suffered a crash on Saturday at 200 km/h which, despite securing third place in Q2, prevented him from racing on Sunday due to pain, forcing him to withdraw. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Two rounds remain: Motorland Aragón and Circuit Ricardo Tormo. We wish all the riders strength and success. We’re confident we’ll soon be celebrating their victories with the team!
