The riders of Team Laglisse and Folch Endurance Racing celebrate their respective victories on the first weekend of July.
If there is something that Team Laglisse can be proud of, it is the exceptional quality of their riders. As we mentioned in past weekends, Unai Orradre (#10) and Borja Gómez (#12) seem unstoppable.
Orradre, for his part, achieved a second place on the podium in the Superbike category after a magnificent weekend, maintaining his position as the leader in the overall standings. His teammate, Borja Gómez, returned to the track after a bad fall in Misano last April, which required surgery and a recovery period. Despite having some problems on Saturday, he managed to come back in race 2, obtaining a third place, just behind his teammate.
In the Stock 1000 category, his teammate Eduardo Montero (#21) achieved a first place on the podium after a bad race on Saturday that prevented him from finishing.
Switching circuits, we move to our home track: the 24h of Montmeló. The Folch Endurance Racing team (#4) had some complications, despite being practically in the lead eight hours after the start. They later managed to recover, finishing in 6th position in the overall standings and 3rd in EWC. The team managed to stay united, with a very consistent pace and an impressive attitude.
It has been an incredible and emotional weekend that kept us all on the edge of our seats. Despite everything, we are very proud to sponsor such hardworking and potential-packed teams.
There is still work and season ahead, but we are convinced that many more emotions are yet to come.
