Directly inspired by the maximum competition, they share the new design exhibited in the Diablo, the Concept Motorcycle that is based on the Yamaha MT-09/SP.
Designed and manufactured in Barcelona thanks to Puig's experience in the WorldSBK and MotoGP World Championships, these new wings provide the Yamaha MT-09/SP with a sportier aesthetic while providing it with great aerodynamic benefits.
Its attractive design developed in the wind tunnel allows channels to be created that accelerate and compact the air current between the walls of the ABS wings and the deflectors, generating the aerodynamic effect known as Downforce.
Thanks to this effect, the descending vertical aerodynamic load is increased at high speeds, improving the stability of the motorcycle and reducing the risk of losing control over the front end.
By having more aerodynamic load in front, a greater grip of the tire is obtained, minimizing the scary shimmies and involuntary wheelies, it also improves cornering and gives us more poise when braking.
Of course, as usual at Puig, they have been manufactured taking into account safety regulations, with rounded edges and a radius of >2 mm.
They show off an attractive Racing aesthetic derived from the spectacular Diablo, Puig's Concept Bike based on the Naked Yamaha MT-09/SP, optimizing it aesthetically and aerodynamically.
An exercise in style and technology derived directly from competition and now, thanks to Puig, can be applied to street bikes.
