SYM Sanyang Industry Co., Ltd. is a company, founded in Taipei in 1954 by Huang Ji-Jun and Chang Kuo-Un and based in Hsinchu, Taiwan, that manufactures and sells scooters, motorcycles and other motorized vehicles under the SYM brand. Currently, the company produces more than 600,000 motorcycles and 20,000 automobiles a year, employing more than 2,000 people in its manufacturing plants.
Its motorcycle models are the Citycom, the Joymax, the Maxsym and the GTS.
