Joint Venture of high technology and racing experience

Pons Racing and KALEX Engineering are proud to announce the birth of an exciting new joint venture in the Motorcycle World Championship. Merging know-how and experience from both sides, the project PONS KALEX will bring a brand-new motorcycle onto the starting grid in the new Moto2 category, with the aim to compete at the highest level from the very beginning. Pons Racing, a Spanish team structure headed by two times 250 cc World Champion Sito Pons with a success story spanning more than 28 years, andKALEX Engineering, a German company with extensive experience in the world of race engineering, have decided to join forces and to merge their resources in order to start in this exciting new motorcycle racing category. With their headquarters inside the Holzer-Group in Bobingen, a village near Augsburg in Southern Germany, Kalex has developed several high-tech projects of size companies in the world of automobile, aeronautics and Formula 1. Building a completely new bike and bringing their design ideas and manufacturing expertise to the world of international motorcycle racing, is now the biggest and most inspiring challenge for company directors Alex Baumgärtel and Klaus Hirsekorn. After re-entering the World Championship in both the 250 cc and 125 cc categories, Pons Racing has been well aware of the opportunities the new Moto2 class would bring. With their aims set high for next year’s championship, team manager Sito Pons and chief engineer Santi Mulero have been studying and evaluating various projects over the recent months, always with the idea of bringing in their own vast experience and thus creating their own project. In their search for the right partner, they eventually decided to join forces with the young and prospering German engineering company that offered fresh ideas and an open mind. "We have visited and evaluated several companies in order to research and find out what would give us the best start in Moto2. Kalex has been the answer – they are exactly what we’ve been looking for”, says Sito Pons. "We have seen some very interesting things in other companies as well, but we didn’t want to be just buyers of a motorcycle. We want to create our own prototype together with our new partner. Kalex has the expertise and the facilities for high class manufacturing. Their technology and our experience is an ideal combination to create a bike that will meet all the requirements to be competitive on the highest level. KALEX has the means in terms of engineering, and we think we know how to transform their work into success on the race track. This is not a project designed for one year. We look further ahead into the future. We want our Moto2 project to progress and prosper, and at the same time, we want it to be the base for future developments. Considering the upcoming changes to the MotoGP class in coming years, we even have the premier class of motorcycle racing in sight!” Alexander Baumgärtel: “We are very delighted to have won Pons Racing as our main partner in this project. Since we’ve talked about the possibility of joining the Moto2 class for the very first time, it was clear for us that we wanted to do this with a team that had the experience and the on-track knowledge essential for such a development. With Pons racing, we’ve found exactly what we wanted. The combination of our know-how in motor racing development and the experience of Pons racing in competing on the world’s highest level, is a fantastic combination with all the ingredients for success".

Pol Espargaro: Moto2 World Champion

The younger brother of MotoGP™ racer Aleix Espargaro made his World Championship debut as a wildcard in 2006, at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya situated barely ten minutes’ drive from his Granollers home. From 27th on the grid, Pol would finish that 125 race in 13th position to become the youngest ever rider to score points in the World Championship, barely one week after his 15th birthday. Covering for the injured Andrea Iannone for the final six races, Espargaro impressed with sixth place in the Valencia season-closer. His first full season came in 2007, switching from Derbi to Aprilia equipment and achieving a first podium finish at Estoril as he finished only two tenths of a second behind winner Hector Faubel. Espargaro switched back to a Derbi bike for his final three 125 seasons. In 2008 came a further three podium finishes plus his career-first pole position in Barcelona. He would finish fourth in the standings in 2009, then going one better to manage third overall as he missed the podium on only five occasions in 2010. Marc Marquez would win the title before both he and Espargaro jumped up to Moto2™ for 2011. Espargaro’s first campaign in the intermediate category was with FTR machinery and would prove to be difficult, not scoring a podium until Indianapolis before following up with another top three result in Malaysia. He ended a somewhat low-key year 13th in the championship, switching to a Kalex for a title assault in 2012. Remembered for the battle between Pol Espargaro and Marc Marquez, the 2012 Moto2™ World Championship would not be without its controversy. Espargaro would rack up no less than eight pole positions and four race victories, including Round 2 at Jerez which was red-flagged. The other three wins came at Silverstone, MotorLand Aragón and Phillip Island, with the Australian success being nothing short of dominant as he clinched victory by the massive margin of nearly 17 seconds. However, there was a contentious incident in Barcelona when Espargaro crashed following a chop from Marquez who was recovering from an incident of his own. He would eventually end the year as runner-up and 56 points in arrears of Marquez. A favourite for the title in 2013, Espargaro started off as he meant to continue by winning in floodlit Qatar but only after an entertaining battle with Scott Redding. He would not retain the championship lead for long, crashing at the inaugural Grand Prix of the Americas two weeks later. A third place in Jerez was followed by a crash at Le Mans and fourth at Mugello, then celebrating back-to-back wins at Barcelona and Assen. The low point was eighth at Silverstone as title rival Redding romped away to a popular home victory, but victories at Misano and Phillip Island were more than welcome. The turning point was qualifying in Australia, when Redding crashed and fractured his left wrist which left the Englishman on the sidelines for a race. Espargaro clinched the title at Motegi on 27th October, winning the Japanese Grand Prix after closest rivals Redding and Tito Rabat were involved in a first-lap multiple collision. In 2014, he will step up to MotoGP™ with Monster Yamaha Tech3 and is expected to be in contention for podium finishes as he partners Bradley Smith.

Espargaró new championship leader after winning the Grand Prix of Australia

But Pol has picked up the pace to prevent what could overtake Federer and thus achieve the fifth victory of the season and the lead in the global ranking moto2 . Axel Pons has been off the track on the first lap which lost him a long time and has left him with no chance at this great prize. POL 1 ESPARGARO "It was an amazing weekend . Even I can not believe we have to end the day , sit down, analyze what happened and enjoy the moment which I think is a great moment in my career. We have become leaders in two races . I'm sorry I could not get with Scott on the track. Our sport is dangerous and this can happen at any time, in any return and in any curve . The goal for the next race is still the same . Come to Japan with the intention of winning , because I think we have to continue with the same attitude that we are having this season. " TITO RABAT 8th "I'm very disappointed because I made a mistake on the final curve and I went straight off the track , so that I could come back and finish the race. Here have been all that we had to win the championship . Now we have to keep working hard in both races we have left and give the maximum. It's a shame what happened but we must continue to improve and continue the line of work we have so far. " AXEL PONS 24th " I made a mistake in the braking for turn ten I went along . I lost a lot of time to return to the race. Then I had to go through boxes because I jumped the start as other drivers who were ahead of me . It's a shame because I have not managed to do the race I had planned. I hope to get out of these thorn in the next round at Motegi . " CAREER 1. POL ESPARGARÓ ( TUENTI HP 40 ) 20:19.219 Two . T. I had a good feeling on Friday . Yesterday we found something on the bike that has served us very well and hopefully help us in the following circuits . We were very fast yesterday at the chrono and this has helped me , given me some air and has given me some peace . I have not done well at the beginning of the carrear with the new tire and with a full tank . The stop of the race perhaps has helped me. I tried to push hard to catch Tito but I found it impossible. Tito has been very quick all weekend. I'm happy because now difference is 9 points and arrived at Phillip Island is a track that I love. " AXEL PONS - Fall " I made a good start , I won a couple of posts in the first few corners and I was fine . Eager to make a good race but then I noticed a strong blow to the back and have flown away . I took a rocket hit and luckily I have not done anything serious . Pol has happened to me and I then started a fight with Pol , Nakagami , Scott . After I have been through and open some space . I had to concentrate again, but then it was too late to try to catch Nico . I'm happy because I've struggled with other pilots and have given their best . Sepang is a track that I really like. There we have to continue in this line of work that I have with the team and continue to give the best. " POL 3rd ESPARGARÓ " This has been a difficult weekend . We had problems on Friday and we had to work hard to give the maximum. We've done a good job and I found a good set-up for the race , maybe not the best but I could fight. It was a tough race because I struggled to get to Scott , and then overtake. Perhaps it was one of the toughest fights I've had and still have gotten just subtract 3 points . So we have to give one hundred percent to Valencia. I wanted to get in front of Scott and out and we succeeded , so you have to go on until the last race . " AXEL PONS 16th " It was not an easy weekend . We had to work hard to get a good tune . Today the bike has performed much better in the race and allowed me to overcome. At first I could not follow , because the behavior of the bike with a full tank was different from that held during workouts. Recover Nakagami distance achieved it has been very difficult . Little by little I gained confidence with the bike and I could push harder each time to give chase . It was a tough race and I am very happy with the win because we have reduced the distance with Scott . Now we are back at a distance in points in which we depend on ourselves . We can trace regardless of the results he gets . You have to keep working hard in Aragon and try to take advantage gives us the home run . " TITO RABAT 3rd "I made a good start and from the beginning was behind Pol After 5 or 6 laps I tried to push hard but for some reason I was unable to keep up , so has escaped. In any case I'm happy because I got a podium here and I think we did a good job. " AXEL PONS 18th " We got very good conclusions in the race and I managed to keep a good pace. In training I have not been able to get a good setup . We tried something new in warm up that has not worked all that well , but in the race I felt more comfortable and I cut the distance with pace head. I started well and was monitoring the situation, but eventually I happened Torres, who was fresher tires, and I could not follow. Corsi also happened to me in the last corner and I tried to recover the second, but the risk was too high and I cut to zero not to let work all weekend. Assen, witnessed the second consecutive win for Pol Espargaró in 2013

Has emerged victorious Espargaró an exciting heads up with Scott Redding, Moto2 championship leader, to get the third win of the season, seventh and 12th in Moto2 World Championship. HP Tuenti rider 40, who started from pole position at Assen, The Cathedral of motorcycling, has led the most laps, has been left shortly after the final pass to study his opponent and the path to success and ended beating his opponent in the fight for the crown in 117 milliseconds. With this result Polyccio has cut Britain's five points, leaving them at 30 after having been on 47 to get to the Circuit de Catalunya just two weeks ago. Tito Rabat has made a remarkable career without prize, to make a mistake on the last lap, when the hardest thing was done, and be overcome by Dominique Aegerter and Mika Kallio, losing a podium that had been earned. Tito, fifth on Dutch soil, is third overall, although the first two have opened a little gap. Axel Pons, meanwhile, has made a good start, sparking a comeback that has been truncated to suffer back problems in his forearm that need urgent solution before the next meeting at Sachsenring (Germany). 1. POL ESPARGARÓ "I am very pleased to have achieved this victory in Assen, The Cathedral, after achieved in Catalunya for two weeks and keep cutting points to Redding. We again achieved the pole position and victory, becoming more confident and engaged fully in a positive dynamic. It was a tough race, in which I tried to detach myself a couple of times and did not get it I gave everything to tip the balance in my favor on the last lap. Scott was faster than me in the first set and I changed the paths to not pass me because I knew that if it came first to the second part of the circuit's triumph was not going to escape. I think I made a smart career prize and we must continue risking knowing that a fall is a disaster and Redding left behind, too. " May. TITO RABAT "I had a good race and I had the podium to hand, but I made a mistake on the last lap and has flown. Pol and Redding have escaped me and get me to the front side of the second group. When I got it I have started to roll like the two-headed, but with discomfort in the arm because I was asleep and unable to detach from Aegerter, Kallio and Zarco. A little end I lost the bike in front, I have spent two pilots and I'm out 'drawer' without a handful of points. A shame but it is only looking forward, first in Argentina and then test in the race in Germany. " 22. AXEL PONS "I started the race pretty well, riding at a good pace and tracing half-dozen positions, mid-career but I have been sleeping the arm and I could not drive. HP Tuenti historic double 40 at the Circuit de Catalunya

The 40 HP Tuenti has written the best script possible in the Grand Prix of Catalunya, signing a double, Espargaró first and second Tito Rabat, Axel Pons coming first in the points this year. The Circuit de Catalunya, a few miles from home, is the second win of Pol Espargaró in 2013, after Qatar, the sixth in Moto 2 and eleventh in his career, for a total of 36 podiums (15 in Moto2 and 21 in 125cc). Polyccio had never won in Catalunya and has drawn the spine with a remarkable career and beating by just 81 thousandths of a second to his teammate Tito Rabat. After two runs with problems, and an initial difficult weekend, Tito Rabat career was exceeded, following Pol at first, leading the race in its middle and fight for victory until the checkered flag. After this double, and fourth time and Tito Pol cited on the podium three sharing box, Espargaró back from fifth to second place in the World to 35 points now Scott Redding, and Tito Rabat is third, 39. Axel Pons, who started very late, has been outstanding going up 15 positions and achieving the first two points of the season. 1. POL ESPARGARÓ "Today I have realized a dream he had since childhood, winning on the circuit that I have close to home and get out of their seats to Espargarins and all the fans. It was a very difficult race because in the grill off me 'display' and completed the whole race blindly without partial information, times, revolutions ... And has slashed the rear tire with two laps to the end and if it lasts half turn could not contain the attack of Titus. I started well and I started to pull, trying to escape or stretch the group. The first has not been possible, but the latter. Halfway through the race, as he had no information on the screen and I guided only by the board, but I pass to Titus to study him and make sure Luthi and Redding were away. With six laps to go I decided to pass and change the pace, but the tire is broken and I had to plug holes the last lap and a half to not keep the win. The sense of joy was indescribable, because at home never achieved the desired result more than anywhere else in the world. We have become the world's second, distance Redding is less and we must keep working because we still have 11 races and time to achieve our goal. " Two. TITO RABAT "I've tried until the last minute and I was very close to victory. Congratulations to Pol for his victory and because for has been the strongest, and the whole team 40 HP Tuenti this doublet has resisted both. Our weekend began with problems and gradually, and with hard work of the entire team, we have been solving. I think I made a smart race, following Pol first to open space, after leading the race and end up attacking the goal. After two races with negative results this second place us back confidence and be able to fight for the podium in all circuits. " 14. AXEL PONS "In the warm-up we tried a different configuration of the classification and the bike has made a radical change, which ultimately allowed me to score the first two points of the season despite leaving 29 º. I match well, my pace was as the top ten most of the race and little by little I have been beating rivals to 14th place. It has cost me points Brand's locker, so now I hope to continue in this line and go closer to the Top 10. CAREER 1. POL ESPARGARÓ (TUENTI HP 40), 41.17.307 Two. Day of comebacks for Pol Espargaro and Tito Rabat

Great comebacks without the podium as a reward for Pol Espargaro and Tito Rabat, who have finished 4th and 13th, respectively, the first after a bad start (14th) and the second after an off-track (27th). Axel Pons, meanwhile, failed to finish, penalized for an engine replacement unacceptable and a fall when he was in the points. Polyccio Espargarò, who started tenth, has lost four positions in the first three curves. From that moment began to gain positions, reaching the edge of the podium after account in the last three laps of Corsi, De Angelis, Torres and Kallio. Tito Rabat was fifth when he made a mistake, has scored a straight and dropped to the 27th place. With the same pace of the head has advanced half a dozen pilots, adding three points to finish (13th) 40 HP Tuenti team stays in Mugello, where tomorrow is scheduled a day of test to be used to improve the development of the Kalex and confidence of the three drivers facing the Catalunya Grand Prix (June 16). 13. TITO RABAT "I made a mistake when he was in the leading group, I went along and suddenly I've gone from fifth to 27th place. I was not comfortable with the rear tire, maybe we were wrong with the election, and we could not score the points we expected. I followed and traced many positions, but three points will not let me not happy. I want to apologize to the team because we are two busy careers that we have failed to make good on race. Tomorrow we will work to get competitive for Montmelo race. " April. POL ESPARGARÓ "This fourth position allows us to add a few points that are important to maybe end of the season, but in any case I leave satisfied. Came very late, from the tenth position after a few workouts with many problems, and although I have traced many positions at any time enjoyed on the bike. Tomorrow we will work hard to find solutions to the problems that prevent us from going faster and be competitive in all conditions. The next event we have at the Circuit de Catalunya and I start tracing in front of the fans, but it will only be possible if we find a basis for optimal tuning. We have to go race to race and get back the feeling the bike today because I fought too much with it and I can only focus on going faster and faster ". AXEL PONS, FALL "I've been fighting for points for more than half the race, but in the end I fall and I will have to try again in two weeks at the Circuit de Catalunya. I had a very difficult weekend, as Friday had problems with the engine and the other given to me has a much lower performance than usual. In these conditions I have done everything that they could and at the end the bike I lost the front and I just on the floor. Also, I have many problems with his right arm and this week we will decide whether to the operation room for not being physically maimed. " CAREER 1. S. Redding (Kalex) 39.53.942 Two. N. Race to forget for HP Tuenti team 40

Bad day for the 40 HP Tuenti team, which has seen its three drivers were outside playing before you complete the third round. Axel Pons has been rammed in the first round and Tito Rabat and Pol Espargaró have fallen in the same second, on the same lap, braking both in an area still wet and can not control the front. The last two are back on track, but with their mounts battered and no option to add a solitary point. After this bad result Tito lost the championship lead Favor Scott Redding, winner at Le Mans, and Polyccio drops to fifth. The next race in two weeks at Mugello (Italy). 23. TITO RABAT "I have not gone all that well, but then I saw that I could go forward, I happened to Pol and trying not to lose sight of Nakagami. But everything has been ruined to get out a little line, braking on a wet and go to ground. I tried to continue, but it was impossible to score points and not even go fast. It was a shame because we have a zero and we lost the World Cup lead, so we have to get to work to find a better result in the next race. " 20. POL ESPARGARÓ "I got a great start and I spent the seventh position to lead the race. I wanted to stretch the group and go calmly watching how people are positioned, and in this way avoid unnecessary risks. On the third lap I passed Nakagami and Tito suddenly, and a little later, to copy braking for my teammate, we have both a wet braking and have gone down. I'm back on track and tried to score some points, but he was not well anchored footrest, my foot slipped and I went over two or three times. The other favorites for the title have also been without a point, with the exception of Redding that henceforth becomes the greatest enemy to beat. " AXEL PONS, fall "I do not know what I have to do to get me off bad luck. I made a good start, gaining a few positions, worse in turn seven of the first lap I noticed a hit from behind and then I've seen on the floor and around me three or four riders. I have to do everything possible to rank well and get out more upfront, because back when it is one thing to another and there is no way to end a career smoothly. " CAREER 1. S. Tito Rabat gets his first win in the World Cup and Espagaró Pol complete the double on the podium for the HP Tuenti 40

On Mother's Day Tito Rabat has made the best possible gift to yours, who from heaven will be on his side to win their first World Cup race in Jerez, the same weekend that claimed the first pole position and stood Moto2 leader. Tito, the best in training, has come first, began to pull, no one has been able to follow and ended up crossing the finish line with more than four seconds ahead of the Briton Scott Redding. A final victory and dominated with an iron hand from start to finish. The success of HP Tuenti team has completed 40 Espargaró, who despite having many tuning problems, especially tire grip throughout the weekend, the end has risen to third place on the podium. Polyccio has earned the podium two laps after settling a thrilling duel with Japanese Nakagami and is now third overall, 11 points behind his teammate. Less fortunate was Axel Pons, involved in a pileup on the second lap and was forced to leave. 1. TITO RABAT "Getting the first pole position and first victory in Jerez, in front of the fans, is great and very difficult to describe. I dedicate this victory, both have pursued, my mother on a special day like today. The team did a great job, the bike was perfect and I have not been nervous at any time. He was comfortable, focused and looking on the board as the advantage grew with every turn. I have not been nervous and in the end I could get the first victory in the World Cup and situate leader. The championship is very long, but I feel comfortable with the bike and the team and I would continue well into the next races. I want to thank everyone who helped me get here and I hope to continue giving joy like this. " Three. POL ESPARGARÓ "It was a tough race and in the end I risked the podium at home because you could not escape. Throughout the weekend I suffered from a lack of grip on the race bike and has not changed. The duel with Nakagami been fun and pass him hardly because of a bent. I hope to have fewer problems tuning in Le Mans and patience because the championship is very long and many things are going to happen. " AXEL PONS, FALL "I'm very disappointed because it's hard not to complete two laps in the race from home. I wear a troubled start to the season in training and out so late. And I need luck in the early stages, as a wild card today threw me. I hope I have completed my list of misfortunes and start going up. " CAREER 1. TITO RABAT (TUENTI HP 40), 45.04.450 Two. S. Tito Rabat up to the second step of the podium in Austin and Espargaró not just a fall

Tito Rabat scored his third podium of Moto2, first in 2013, finishing second in the Circuit of the Americas, in a race won by Nico Terol and Pol Espargaró not over after falling on the fourth lap. Team driver Tuenti HP 40 has gone from less to more, and 11 th in the first lap passed into second under the checkered flag, after beating in the last corner to Mika Kallio and on the way to 10 pilots . It so happens that all three of Tito in Moto2 podiums have come out of Europe: Indianápolis'12, Motegi'13 and Americas'14. In 125cc drawer rose three times, the first in China'07 and two in 2010 (Jerez and Brno). Less fortunate have had Espargaró and Axel Pons. The winner of Qatar has fallen and fortunately has not suffered any injury in his right foot despite losing the boot. And Axel Pons, who started late, has been a touch on the starter, has lagged repositioning the brake lever and recovered to 17th place. Two. TITO RABAT "I am very happy with this podium, but convinced he could have won had it not been for a twist in the output that almost forces me to leave to move the clutch lever. I started to pick up in the last corner and I could overtake Kallio to finish second. During the race I felt comfortable, but I had to work hard for my gear ratio was a little short and it was difficult to overtake. The team did a great job and I want to thank them because without them this would not have been possible podium and to all the people who have helped me get here. Now comes Jerez and hope to continue with the best and build up my box of points. " 17. AXEL PONS "It was a tough race. I have been a blow out and I had to cut and get out of the racing line to put the brake lever in place. This incident has caused me to go off hook and that group I lost virtually any option to enter the points. I tried to finish with a good pace, climbing over ten positions, but it was not enough. I hope to make a good grade in Jerez, to avoid as far as possible at the start problems ". POL ESPARGARÓ, Fall "It was a shame because I was comfortable in the leading group and in the warm up had partly solved the problems of training. I expected a bit to attack, since the group was large and was taking no chances. The fall has happened very quickly, closing the front wheel and the correct maneuver spat me from behind. I could have hurt, because even boot me out, but fortunately everything has been a hit, a scare and no points in the box. Luckily we only two runs and no one has escaped in general. Congratulations to Tito for his podium and the team for not stop working on a weekend that we have accumulated a lot of problems. " CAREER 1. N. Terol (Suter), 42.02.689 Two. Pol Espargaro starts sending year with pole and victory in Qatar

Pol Espargaró clinched the victory in the Qatar Grand Prix, opening round of the World Championship MotoGP/Moto2, or a tenth under his belt and you have to add the pole position yesterday. Tuenti team driver HP 40 has a smart race, following the pace set by Takaaki Nakagami and Scott Redding in the first half of the race, and jugándoselo in a head to head with Britain's spectacular last-lap. It was a triumph worked, the first of the year and achieved after a hard fall on Thursday that nearly ruin the classification. Tito Rabat could not meet the expectations created in the warm up and race has reproduced the problem rebound lets not go well in the curves. After being fourth many laps completed ninth and added some points that may be important during the season. And Axel Pons has gone down in the fourth round, when he had climbed half a dozen positions and was Belgian Xavier Simeon wheel, which ultimately has finished tenth. 1. POL ESPARGARÓ "Starting the season with a victory was desired sleep, and after a difficult weekend, with fall included, and in which there was very clear. The team did a great job and I've been competitive career, learning and even behind Redding Nakagami some secrets from each intermediate partial. At first I could follow Nakagami and luckily I had the pace to catch Redding. After we escaped and in the last lap I had to put in the racing hard for me not to win, despite getting to see his front wheel on my left side. Never had started the year with a win, pole position well and has been very hard and worked, so the joy is huge. 9. TITO RABAT "Since the official training something was wrong with the bike. I thought we had settled in the warm up, where I had a pretty good pace, but the race has come back and I could not ride as I wanted. Put the bike in the corners I could not and I've been playing a fall at every turn, even shooting a second slower than yesterday. It was very hard to finish, so all good are the seven points scored. We have been looking at the telemetry with the team and we will seek to solve the problem based on the U.S. side. " Axel Pons, fall "I started very confident and I felt comfortable on the bike. The problem is that I wanted to quickly retrieve all lost in the fall of classification. The rush I have played a trick, I made a mistake and I've gone down when wheel was Simeon, who was tenth at the end. While I have been on the track was fast and climbing positions with good feeling on the bike. It was a shame, but I'll take the good and hope to return to the right track in two weeks in Texas. "

Pol Espargaró closes the preseason being the fastest in three appearances in 2013 IRTA

Pol Espargaró has closed the preseason with the fastest time in Jerez, as previously done in this circuit and in Valencia, showing that it is the pilot door fitter at the start of the Moto2 World Championship 2013. Tito Rabat, sixth, and Axel Pons, twelfth, also have left samples of their potential and the great form of all equipment HP Tuenti 40, just two weeks after the first Grand Prix of the year in Doha (Qatar) on 7 April. The wind has been the star of the fourth and final day of testing, making it impossible for the pilots to lower their times. Nevertheless, Polyccio has returned to lead the timesheets, Tito Axel was third and 15th. 1. POL ESPARGARÓ, 1.42.636 "The last day I again set the fastest time, but far from the record of yesterday because of the strong wind that penalized us much at all. I'm glad I was fastest in all three IRTA disputed, one in Valencia and two in Jerez, but having clear that here gave no points and that the World Cup really starts in two weeks in Qatar. I think we are ready to fight for the title, assuming the role of choice that we all have hung, and with confidence and peace of mind about the best technical team to achieve the goal. We will have to go race by race and never forget Moto2 category is more difficult and the most difficult races of the championship, and that drivers like Luthi, Simon Elias and Terol or have been champions, and others like Redding have guns to complicate life if we do not give 110% of our potential. " 6. TITO RABAT, 1.43.424 "I think I'm better prepared than ever to start the World Cup, after being provided with the best in the three trainings held this winter. The team is doing a great job and I think together we found a way to fight for the top positions in every race, starting with Qatar in two weeks. Today the wind has hurt us all, but I've been playing field and third overall in the four days, six. I am happy and eager to see me in the first grill of the year to start racing. " 12. Axel Pons, 1.43.861 "In this fourth day of practice we made some changes and we had to return to the previous settings that did not give the expected results. I finished this long training in 12th place, always striving to be in the 'Top 10' and with a good feeling on the bike. I have really wanted to get to Qatar and begin racing, measuring my strength with the other riders and showing that I have taken a very important step forward, and I hope to continue throughout the World.
